24 Applicants Receive Appointment Letters as Punjab Government Continues Employment Drive

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab administration is keeping its promise to create jobs locally in an effort to increase employment prospects for educated youth in the province. The Water Supply and Sanitation Department’s Minister of Revenue, Rehabilitation, Water Supply, and Sanitation, Bram Shanker Jimpa, presented appointment letters to 24 applicants on March 15 for the post of stenotypists.

Distribution of Appointment Letters

This initiative comes after nine candidates received appointment letters for different positions within the same department on March 11—these included Clerk, Junior Technician, and Helper positions. Minister Jimpa underlined Chief Minister Mann’s staunch dedication towards making certain Punjab’s youth have abundance of employment opportunities within the state, minimizing the necessity for migration overseas.

Focus on State Development and Social Equity

In his address, Minister Jimpa emphasized Punjab’s government’s commitment to the state’s overall development while safeguarding the rights of every group in society. He highlighted the significance of generating jobs locally and the proactive strategy adopted by the current administration in this regard.

Gratitude and Acknowledgment

Though originally scheduled to be distributed by Chief Minister Mann himself, the responsibility was delegated to Minister Jimpa due to unforeseen circumstances. Nevertheless, the candidates and their families expressed profound gratitude to the state government and departmental officers for the opportunity provided.

Future Goals for Youth Employment

HOD Amit Talwar and Principal Secretary Nilkanth S. Avhad graced the event, praising the government’s cooperative effort in pushing employment programs. While the newly selected candidates promise to serve the people with sincerity and commitment, the government is unwavering in its ambition of giving Punjab’s youth more possibilities for employment and creating jobs locally.
